
Cajun Shrimp Boil Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp
- 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced
- 6 ears corn, halved
- 2 pounds red potatoes, halved
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Fill large pot with water and bring to a boil
- Add Old Bay, Cajun seasoning, salt, and peppers
- Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes
- Add corn and sausage, cooking for 5 minutes
- Add shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes
- Remove from heat and drain
- In small saucepan, melt butter
- Add hot sauce and mix well
- Serve with butter sauce and lemon wedges
