Ingredients

  • 1 bag puff corn
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C)
  2. Place puff corn in large bowl
  3. In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
  4. Add brown sugar and corn syrup
  5. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes
  6. Remove from heat and add baking soda
  7. Stir in vanilla extract and salt
  8. Pour caramel over puff corn
  9. Toss to coat evenly
  10. Spread on baking sheet
  11. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes
  12. Cool completely before serving
