Ingredients
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package directions, drain and set aside
- Season chicken with salt and black pepper
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes
- Remove chicken and set aside
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic
- Cook garlic for 1 minute until fragrant
- Add Alfredo sauce and heavy cream, stir to combine
- Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes
- Add Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss with pasta
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately
