Ingredients

  • 2 cups einkorn flour
  • 1/2 cup sourdough starter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, mix einkorn flour and salt
  2. Add sourdough starter and water
  3. Mix until dough forms
  4. Knead on floured surface for 10 minutes
  5. Place in greased bowl and let rise for 4 hours
  6. Shape into loaf and place in greased pan
  7. Let rise for 2 hours
  8. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C)
  9. Bake for 15 minutes
  10. Reduce heat to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30 minutes
  11. Cool on wire rack
