Special Notes

Elephant ears are a classic fair food that's perfect for special occasions and family gatherings. The dough is similar to a sweet bread, and when fried, it becomes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cinnamon sugar coating adds sweetness and warmth that makes these treats irresistible. The key is to roll the dough thin enough to cook through but thick enough to have a good texture. These are best served fresh and warm, but they can be reheated in the oven if needed. Perfect for carnivals, fairs, or as a special treat at home.
