Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce and rice vinegar
  2. Add sesame oil and honey
  3. Stir in ginger, garlic, and green onions
  4. Add red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt
  5. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes
  7. Remove from heat and let cool
  8. Strain if desired for a smoother sauce
  9. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator
  10. Use as a marinade, dipping sauce, or stir-fry sauce
