Ingredients

  • 2 everything bagels, sliced
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon (lox)
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast bagels until golden brown
  2. Spread cream cheese on both halves of each bagel
  3. Layer smoked salmon on the bottom half of each bagel
  4. Add red onion slices on top of the salmon
  5. Sprinkle capers over the onion
  6. Add tomato and cucumber slices
  7. Garnish with fresh dill
  8. Season with black pepper
  9. Top with the other half of the bagel
  10. Serve with lemon wedges on the side
