
Pork Shank Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 pork shanks
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup red wine

Instructions
- Season pork shanks with salt and pepper
- Heat oil in large pot over medium-high heat
- Add pork shanks and cook until browned
- Remove pork and set aside
- Add onion, garlic, carrots, and celery
- Cook until vegetables are softened
- Add tomatoes, broth, and wine
- Return pork to pot
- Add thyme, rosemary, and red pepper flakes
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer
- Cook for 2 1/2 hours until pork is tender
- Garnish with fresh parsley
