
Salmon Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cans (14.75 oz each) salmon, drained and flaked
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan
- In a large bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onions, celery, parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and dill
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined
- Press mixture into prepared loaf pan
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce
- Spread sauce mixture over the top of the loaf
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown and firm
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing
- Serve with additional ketchup or tartar sauce
