
Classic Seafood Boil Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp, head-on
- 2 pounds snow crab legs
- 2 pounds mussels
- 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced
- 8 ears corn, halved
- 2 pounds small red potatoes
- 2 large onions, quartered
- 1 head garlic, halved
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 lemons, halved
- Melted butter for serving
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a rolling boil.
- Add Old Bay seasoning, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and bay leaves.
- Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add corn and sausage, cook for 5 minutes.
- Add crab legs and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add shrimp and mussels, cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and mussels open.
- Remove from heat and drain.
- Serve on a large platter with melted butter and lemon wedges.
