Special Notes
Ssamjang is a traditional Korean dipping sauce that's perfect for Korean BBQ. The combination of doenjang and gochujang creates a complex, umami-rich flavor. The key is balancing the salty, sweet, and spicy elements. You can customize this recipe by adjusting the amount of gochujang for your preferred heat level. This sauce is perfect for lettuce wraps, grilled meats, or as a condiment for rice bowls.
