
Turmeric Shots Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 cup water
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a blender, combine turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, honey, black pepper, cayenne, and water.
- Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
- Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp.
- Add salt and stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or spiciness if needed.
- Pour into small shot glasses or storage containers.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve chilled as a wellness shot.
