Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle cone maker or pizzelle iron
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt
  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs with melted butter
  4. Add vanilla and almond extracts
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to egg mixture
  6. Add milk and mix until smooth
  7. Drop 2 tablespoons batter onto preheated waffle cone maker
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown
  9. Immediately roll into cone shape using a cone form
  10. Let cool completely before filling
  11. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over cones if desired
  12. Fill with ice cream and serve immediately
